Storytime with Saber

 At some point when I was teaching, before COVID...

I had to call my mom one day, which I did in front of L, on speaker.

When I was teaching, I often got asked how old I was, and instead of answering I would ask them how old they thought I was. This was fun because I enjoyed freaking out students a little bit and because I was always genuinely curious. Also teenagers have NO CLUE how old adults are, so it's hilarious.

Around early 2021, probably, I was on the phone with an airline, trying to rebook plane tickets for a vacation we hadn't been able to go on during COVID. L was in the kitchen, cooking dinner. When I got off the phone, I stood up and went into the kitchen, happily announcing that I'd been successful and we were going to be able to go on our vacation soon.
